Dr.Rohit Lal is a highly skilled and well experienced joint Replacement and Arthroscopy Surgeon based in Ranchi, India. He has experience in more than 400 such surgeries. After completing his medical graduation from Government medical college Nagpur, he passed his diploma in orthopedic from PMCH Patna.
In his pursuit for higher studies he went to MIOT Hospital, Chennai to complete DNB degree under the guidance of renowned surgeons of South India. Following his degree and experience with MIOT hospital he came to New Delhi and did his Senior Residency of three year in the Dept. of Orthopedic, Safdarjung Hospital. In Safdarjung Hospital he was exposed to a large volume of orthopedic trauma surgeries, where he gained expertise and skill in all kinds of orthopedic surgeries.
In his quest to learn more and super specialize himself he joined fellowship programme with Dr. O.N. Nagi. Senior Joint Replacement Surgeon in Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi. He developed great interest in joint replacement surgeries.
Dr.Rohit Lal was then chosen by Australian Orthopedic Association for a long term fellowship in joint replacement and arthroscopic surgeries in SPORTSMED HOSPITAL IN ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA under the able guidance of Hip and Knee surgeons, Dr. Anthony Spriggins and Dr. Roger Paterson. Impressed by his surgical skills and brilliant performance he was then sent to MELBOURNE for further training in Hip and Knee arthroscopy. After more than one year of training in Australia he has gained expertise in the following procedures which are done by very few surgeons around the world.
